Brett Lehr

Yoga Instructor, Thai Massage Therapist, Music Lover and seeker of Perfect Waves


Brett Lehr is a devoted Yogi, Thai Massage Therapist, Music Lover and seeker of Perfect Waves. Yoga is his life’s passion and he is honored to be able to share the gift of this practice with others. Brett brings to his teaching a love for the history and philosophy of yoga and a powerful belief in the transformative capabilities of asana practice for emotional and spiritual growth. Brett’s yoga classes, which combine elements of the Hatha Raja traditions, are infused with beautiful music, warmth and humor, his profound knowledge of asana, and a strong emphasis on pranayama and meditation. He gained his certification under Sri Dharma Mittra, “The Rock of Yoga” one of the most prolific and influential yogis of our time. He regularly continues his yoga education through assisting various workshops and attending the Master Classes at the temple of Sri Dharma Mittra in New York City. Brett’s teaching is grounded in the belief that we each have the capacity to tap into our inner truth, release negative patterns, and create harmony of body and mind. His classes provide each student with a supportive space to learn about anatomy and alignment, the intersection of the science and spirit of yoga, and always the simple, undeniable joy of the movement.


     

    Britni Pirog


    Britni first practiced yoga when she was 14, just expecting to get a good workout and she fell in love. Eventually discovering more than just the asana of the practice she began to fall in love with the spirituality of the practice and the connection of the body to the mind. Practicing all over the jersey shore she decided she wanted to bring more meaning to her practice by sharing it with others. She went through a 200 hour teacher training at the center for health and healing getting trained in Hatha yoga and dove deeper into the meaning of yoga. Britni hopes to change lives by giving people the gift of yoga through out her own personal journey.


       

      Carrie Godesky

      Carrie Godesky has been in teaching yoga classes since being certified by Yoga Fit in 2003. Her love of the practice has led her to study with renowned yoga instructors across the nation and has inspired a “seasonal yoga” approach to her teaching style.

      Carrie believes there is something inherently sacred and beautiful about bringing awareness to the rhythms of the day, to the moon cycles, to the seasonal changes and to the various life phases so we can appreciate how dynamic life is and remember not to take any of it for granted.

      Daniel Abbott E-RYT

      Yoga Instructor


      Daniel Abbott E-RYT is a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Instructor, mathematician, multimedia artist, and trans-lineage esotericist. He is the founder of Kala Pravinya Yoga. His Yoga-Related Certifications include a 200 hr Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher Certification through Brahma Yoga (a traditional yoga school with roots traced to Satyananda Yoga) and a 200 hr Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher Certification through Beth Shaw’s Yogafit (a dynamic vinyasa style with a heavy emphasis on conscious business practices and philanthropy). Daniel offers not only classes and workshops congruent with the Kala Pravinya Yoga style and philosophy, but also a Yoga Alliance Approved 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training (offered at at both local and non-local locations)..


         

        Erin Simonelli (Peluso)

        Erin Simonelli (Peluso) began her own yoga practice over a decade ago when she began experiencing panic attacks on her commute into NYC. Wanting to share yoga with others, she completed two teacher trainings and is an E.R.Y.T 200 instructor.

        She also completed a nutrition program at IIN and is a Certified Holistic Health Coach as well as a Passion Test facilitator yoga instructor, Lifestyle Coach and Happiness Seeker. Erin left the corporate world to follow her heart and she’s now been teaching for almost 9 years and has traveled to many places, including India, and considers herself a spiritual adventurer.

        Living her passion and helping others live theirs gives her supreme joy. Her classes are fun, challenging and uplifting. She also created a 4 week virtual program called Live Royally Now, where she helps students build their dream life from the ground up, so they can finally be happy!

        She infuses yoga, manifestation techniques and her love of travel into her workshops and retreats which she runs worldwide.


           

          Gerald Saluti

          Father of six beautiful children and loving Husband, Gerald is an attorney turned yoga instructor. (300 hour YA certified). His passion for children, yoga and the city of Newark drew him to the Newark Yoga Movement. He no longer practices law and has dedicated his life to serving others and sharing his yoga journey.


            Lisa Brodrick

            Blissful magnetism is abundant around Lisa. Her passion & experience masterfully connect people with their own splendor & light. She is known for her workshops on energy & chakras, trainings in children’s yoga & her love of sharing kirtan.  She also serves as the vegan chef at Shakta Khalsa’s teacher trainings for the past 6 years.

            A life-long student, Lisa is an ERYT500 & RCYT with over 10 years of teaching experience with adults and over 15 years & countless hours of work with youths as an educator in the public schools in NJ & as a naturalist in CA.

            Her formal training began in 2003 rooted in Iyengar Yoga through Yoga

            Programs of Sonoma, CA.  Her first class w/Sri Dharma Mittra began her journey to completing the 500hr Life of a Yogi teacher training at Dharma Yoga center 5 years later.

            During this time, she also began study with Shakta Kaur Khalsa to fulfill her genuine desire to integrate yoga into her professional work as public school teacher working with youths & young adults of different abilities & circumstances.  An expert in this field, Lisa travels extensively giving the Radiant Child Yoga L 1-3 TT.

            She has staffed several 200 hour teacher trainings giving workshops on Anatomy, Energetics & Chakra Theory.  In 2013 she piloted a project in South Africa giving teacher training & working with some Africa’s most vulnerable youths from the townships surrounding Johannesburg affected by HIV in conjunction w/ Global Camps Africa.

            Lisa is devoted to sharing the teachings of her mentors & guides. Although she is the first to say that she never intended on becoming a teacher, her work shows her devotion to passing on the deep foundations of yoga so that all students find their teacher within. You cannot help but feeling your own sacred bonds as you leave her classes, workshops or training. When not teaching, you will Lisa playing music, playing in the ocean or frolicking w/ her dog, Oreo.


               

              Matt Becker

              Matt Becker has been studying the Yoga, The Holy Science of Self Realization, with Sri Dharma Mittra in NYC for 4 years. The yoga they practice is classic Hatha-Raja Yoga. Traditional Hatha yoga deals primarily with the physical yoga postures or asanas. Raja yoga, the King’s yoga, leads one inward towards mindfulness and meditation. The jewel of Yoga is “ the calming of the fluctuations of the mind.” In the Hatha-Raja tradition they use the asana and meditation practice not just to achieve radiant physical health and discharge accumulated stress and tension from the body, but also to stimulate the sixth sense in order to achieve mental and emotional clarity.

              These practices, when practiced in union with the moral and ethical rules, will lead the individual to purification and self realization. One may begin to develop a deeper understanding of their true selves, their relationship with thier physical body and their relationship between their thoughts and their actions. If one continues to practice the asanas daily their bodies will become strong, the meditation will make their minds firm, and thier devotion will make their hearts true.

                Several yrs ago I came to my 1st yoga class at Christian Valeriani’s EvenFlow Yoga & Meditation, with a friend just to check it out. I was hooked ever since. It provided such an experience like nothing I had ever had before. It turned my focus inward, in a day and age when we are so externally focused. This was the practice I needed to provide balance in my life. And that is what I hope to bring into the lives of others through this ancient technique. Not only did yoga help me become more aware and mindful but it provided the tools for me to have a loving relationship with myself. The one person I found it most difficult to love. I was in my early 20′s but felt as though I’ve lived 3 lives already–LOTS of ups and downs. After I began my practice it organically seeped into the rest of my life. I was ready to heal, to focus on me, to love me, to find my footing and let my roots grow. The 8 limbs of Yoga are a powerful practice that sparked the light inside of me and continues to fan the fire. My mission is to help spark the light in others and fan their fire through Yoga. To help uncover the divine that lives in each and every one of us. To bring an awareness to the sea of consciousness that we are all a part of. To let others know, you are never alone. Namaste.

                Yulady Saluti

                Yoga-Instructor


                Yulady Saluti never stops moving. She is a Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor who has appeared in DVDs with Tara Stiles and Deepak Chopra. She has rocked her yoga on television with Sadie Nardini, she is Skype’s Brand Ambassador.
                After battling and overcoming a serious colon rectal medical condition, which required she live with a colostomy for four years, Yulady dove head first into a new, healthy life filled with yoga and studies in Ayurveda. It was only three years into her practice (and during her 20th surgery related to her former illness) that her doctors discovered that she had Stage 2 breast cancer at the age of thirty-two.
