      Kathryn Dorando

200-RYT. As a Libra who knows the importance of maintaining balance in life, yoga was my answer. Seeking balance brought me to yoga ten years ago, and that sought after balance is what keeps me there. I like to think of yoga as the dance of the heart, exhibited through asanas, carried by the breath. Every movement, every moment, counts. There is a long road of learning ahead, and it’s the journey that counts.

After leaving her corporate gig in fashion where she felt burnt out and unhappy, she left on a lone trip to India where she realized she could do anything she wanted, as long as she put her mind to it. She found Yoga after she experienced anxiety attacks and needed a coping mechanism for stress. It has saved her everyday from there forth. She strives to make yoga accessible to everyone, loves alignment and the philosophy aspect for it gives guidelines to happiness and brings one closer to their true Self.

                Nicole Stepiro

I’ve always had a love for practicing yoga, being fit, dancing and working out. I grew such a aspiration for it that I became a certified fitness instructor in 2009. Fitness has become a part of my daily life. In 2015, I was lucky enough to incorporate my passion for dance by getting certified at Balance Body Barre. Barre gives me a sense of purpose, while knowing the positive benefits it has on my body. The barre fitness class isn’t always easy, but after the challenge it feels so good.

                    Kevin Nowicki

My journey began when I chose yoga to increase core strength and flexibility after back surgery.  I had back problems since I was a teenager, and I wish I had found yoga many years ago.  After the first month of practice I was drawn to it immediately.  It became the most important aspect of my life, and I became fully dedicated.  My practice began with the physical poses, and then led to the mental, emotional, and spiritual growth.  I completed my 200 hour teacher training under Sri Dharma Mitra at the Dharma Yoga Center.  My training covered all aspects of yoga including: spiritual and psychic development, anatomy, diet, pranayama, meditation and relaxation, ethics, and the physical practice.  Now the next part of my journey begins incorporating all aspects of yoga into my life on and off the mat.  My practice has led me to conquer back pain and other physical conditions, and help relieve stress and anxiety.  Through my instruction I aim to guide students to better understand their own mind, body, and breath.  I hope I can guide others to find their own spiritual path through yoga, and open their hearts and minds to a world of unlimited possibilities.
